Biography

Caroline Goulard DVM CCRT CVA

I received my veterinary degree in 1988 from Montréal University, Canada. I practiced in general small animal medicine as well as emergency and critical care in Montréal, then in California where I moved in 2000.

I have been an athlete throughout my whole life, and I unfortunately had to deal with minor and severe sport injuries. So I myself experienced the healing power of physical therapy, acupuncture, osteopathy, chiropractic, and massage therapy. Over the years, I have decided to bring the same therapies to pets. Following this path, I got certified in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2006, followed by advanced courses in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (herbal medicine, Tui-na, food therapy, and more acupuncture). I then got certified in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy in early 2010.

What am I doing when not working? Taking care of my pets, and cooking for my loved ones (humans and pets). Or, you will find me on a mountain bike taking a leisure ride or racing a grueling 24 hour race.
