For Clients

Some reasons to desire a housecall for your pet:
-Treating patients in their own comfortable environment helps to reduce stress.
-House calls are also convenient for large dogs that do not travel well or are not able to get in the car easily due to musculoskeletal or neurological disease.
-When a pet is more relaxed, it is easier to evaluate some subtle lesions.
-Cats fractious at any veterinary facility or stress too much when traveling can benefit from a home visit.
-Some owners would like to have the attention of a veterinarian at each visit.
-Or you live a busy life and you do not have the time to get to the veterinary office as often as you would like.
-Personalized attention
-It is easier in person to evaluate the environment of a pet and make recommendations.

Before our appointment: make sure you have a current copy of your pet’s medical record, with copy of laboratory work and radiographs at the time of my first visit. Have your primary care veterinarian’s phone number handy in case more information is needed. Since I mainly focus on physical rehabilitation and acupuncture during my visit, I highly recommend you have all medical problems worked up by your primary care veterinarian before you make your appointment. I will send a report to them after my first visit.

IMPORTANT: Since some animals can be sore for one or two days after treatment, I recommend not starting acupuncture/physical rehabilitation treatments the day before an event/show.
