Meet Dr. Goulard

Dr. Goulard

Dr. Caroline Goulard, DVM

  • CCRT: Certified in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy (2010)
  • CVA: Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture (2006)
  • CVPP: Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner (2012)

Dr. Goulard received her veterinary degree in 1988 from Montreal University in Canada, moving to California in 2000. She has over 25 years of experience including general small animal practice as well as emergency and critical care expertise. While Dr. Goulard has been an athlete throughout her life, she has also suffered from both minor and severe sports injuries. She has personally witnessed the healing power of physical therapy, acupuncture, osteopathy, chiropractic, and massage therapy. This served as her inspiration to bring the same therapies to pets.

Following this path, Dr. Goulard became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA). She built on this foundation by attending advanced courses in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). She then completed certification in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy (CCRT) and as a Veterinary Pain Practitioner (CVPP). When Dr. Goulard is not serving animals through her work, she is taking care of her own pets. She also enjoys cooking for her loved ones, both humans and animals. You might also spot her on a mountain bike, out for a leisure ride or a grueling race.
